Hi, The quality of this product is great, although the patches for the extra-large size do seem a bit small.
This is my second harness and I am even more pleased with it. The patch quality has been greatly improved. The additional belly strap is a wonderful idea. Thanks ForDogTrainers.com team, you are doing a great job!
My husband had purchased the Better Control Harness to use with our 2 year old GSD, Cork. I was skeptical that it would work. Walking Cork was always difficult for me. She would pull so hard that it was almost impossible for me to do it on my own. The first thing I noticed about the harness was that it seemed to be very well made and I loved all the different places you could hook a leash (there are four.) The handle is also a huge plus because it is easy enough to grab onto in a pinch. When I put the harness on my dog, her behavior seemed to change instantly. She was calm and tentative to my direction. I hooked her leash to the front chest ring and we set out for her walk. I instantly saw a difference. With a normal collar she would take off running, dragging me along with her. This harness makes it impossible for her to pull. We walked further than we ever have and my arms weren't even tired afterwards. The only negative I found was that the strap that fits around her chest fits jus
I purchased this harness to hopefully reduce my German Shepherd's pulling issues. When something got her attention or she was determined to her own direction, she was very diffucult to get back on track. She is a 75lb female and very strong. I intended on trying all 4 different rings or combinations to better control her. I was almost in shock to find that. The ring on the handle, which was my first option worked so well by eliminating the pulling that I didnt even have to try anything else. Our walks and training are so much more enjoyable, we are able to go on longer walks without frustration. My wife is able to walk our German Shepherd and Pomeranian at the same time now. because she is able to control our GSD so much easier now.
I love the quality of this harness. It is heavy duty and fits my 6 month old German Shepherd Dog very well. I love the front lead for walks and love the handle on the back. I ordered a medium and will probably need to order a large eventually when my dog fills out more.
