How to measure your dogs snout:

Length - measure your dog from his eyes to the tip of his nose.
Circumference - measure approximately 1 inch below his eyes around the snout.

For small dogs add approximately 1/2 inch to the dogs exact circumference of his snout.
For medium dogs add approximately 1inch to 1-1/2 inch to the dogs exact circumference of his snout.
For big and large dogs add approximately 1-1/2 inch to 2 inch to the dogs exact circumference of his snout

Hi Guy, We received the muzzles for our Akita dogs and I wanted to let you know that it's one of the best muzzles that we've ever purchased. The only issue I have is that our snout length measurement is 4 inches and was expecting maybe 4.25 - 4.5 measurement not approx 5.25 inch measurement. It is a bit long for my dogs but we can try to make it work. I suggest that you put on your website the approx snout measurement the muzzles will come with so your customers will know what to expect.
